The Cournot Centre for Economic Studies offers every year a maximum of five Robert Solow postdoctoral bursaries of 24,000 Euros each. The Scientific Committee chooses postdoctoral fellows based on their applications.
Recipients may undertake postdoctoral research at the host institution of their choice. The Cournot Centre itself does not act as a hosting institution for postdoctoral researchers, only as a funding institution.
Candidates MUST have been awarded their Ph.D. between 1 October 2009 and 1 October 2011. The fellowship is for 12 months and is not intended to supplement other research grants or a full-time salary.

Letters must be postmarked no later than February 11, 2011. Applications by fax or email will not be accepted. Applications must not be more than six (6) pages recto in length, including the cover page, and may be typed in a font size no smaller than 12, or handwritten in black ink. Additional sheets should not be added.
The successful applicants for 2011-2012 academic year will be notified by 29 April 2011.
